Spoon Earrings (SW115)
Silver plated spoon handles are lightly hammered for a bit of background texture. These are topped with a couple of sparkly crystals and finished with lever back ear hooks.
Overall measurement just shy of 3” and on the heavy side - you know - silverware and all.
Silver-plated flatware boasts the most stunning patterns, I just couldn’t resist recreating them into something wearable. Each spoon or fork is hand cut, shaped, filed, sanded, hanging holes drilled, cleaned, and sealed to prevent tarnish. It’s a process!
Not wanting to waste a thing, I’ll use the rest of each flatware piece to make rings and sculptures. Eventually.
